ABOUT RACHAEL

IMG_8278.jpg

Rachael’s love affair with make up began at a young age, when she would practice different hair and make up looks on her unsuspecting father as he slept on the couch during his lunch breaks.

She started her makeup career in 2005 at the age of 15 by assisting legendary make up artist Rae Morris, and after 4 years of experience on the job, she was being represented by creative agency DLM at age 19 as a hair and make up artist.

Rachael worked in the fashion industry for 11 years and during that time built up a diverse client base. Her work has appeared in the pages of magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Shop Til You Drop, Grazia, Elle and Real Living. She has also worked with numerous Australian brands and celebrities.

In 2009 she launched a beauty blog, with the goal of teaching her audience how to take tips and tricks from a makeup artist and apply them to their own beauty looks, and in 2014 she turned her love of teaching into a YouTube channel.

Rachael has created content for her social media channels in partnership with Australian and international brands including Giorgio Armani Beauty, L'Oreal Paris, The Body Shop, NARS, Swarovski, Calvin Klein Fragrance, Versace Fragrance, Clinique, GHD, Elizabeth Arden, Revlon, Bobbi Brown, Priceline Pharmacy and has worked as a contributing editor for 9 Honey You.

In 2021, Rachael launched boutique creative agency Studio Alyce which specialises in content creation, production and influencer campaign management.

Rachael is passionate about reformer Pilates (she's now a qualified teacher), food, bringing awareness to mental health and helping rescue dogs, and regularly speaks about these topics on her channels.
