MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE (& MOST USED) RAE MORRIS BRUSHES
October 25, 2016
If you’ve just watched my latest video (What’s in my professional kit - the Brush edition) you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of Rae Morris’ brush range. My entire brush set is basically Rae Morris brushes. There’s good reason for this - they’re soft, beautiful to work with, and help me to give my clients a luxurious, enjoyable make up experience.
In case you’re hoping to take advantage of the discount I’ve organized with Rae, I thought I’d list some of my favourite brushes of hers so that if you didn’t know where to start with building your brush kit, you now do.
BRUSH 2: MINI KABUKI $30 I love to use this Mini Kabuki brush for targeted application of powders. I use it for bronzer, blush, translucent powder, and you can even use it for highlighting.
BRUSH 4: SQUARE KABUKI $45 The only reason this wasn’t in my video is because I actually save it to use on myself rather than in my professional make up kit. I LOVE this brush. I use it often with my favourite cream contouring products and I find it very easy to use.
BRUSH 7: DELUXE POINT SHADER $39 This is a must have for eye make ups. It blends like a dream! You can use it to apply eye shadow over your entire eyelid, or use a lighter pressure to take advantage of the tapered tip.
BRUSH 25: FAN HIGHLIGHTER $20 You know I love to highlight! Fan highlighter brushes are super easy to use, make highlighting very quick, and don’t leave any highlighting stripes on the face. It distributes the product so beautifully, with no blending required.
BRUSH 26 : RADIANCE $110 This brush is the ultimate in foundation brushes. Using it feels just like a face massage! It makes blending and buffing foundation the quickest, easiest process and the result is FLAWLESS, naturally beautiful looking skin.
As Rae is a good friend of mine, she was kind enough to offer my readers 20% off her brushes and accessories (only) from www.RaeMorris.comuntil 25/11/2016.
You can use the code ‘Rachaelbrook’ at checkout.
Rae's latest book Makeup Masterclass (and accompanying app) has everything you need to know about how to use her brushes too.
